Survivor from Poland | Lodz

Adele Besserman lived as a young child in the Lodz Ghetto in Poland. Her mother took her to Russia in 1941 to escape the ghetto. She returned to Poland after the war and came to the United States in 1949. She took part in the March of the Living in Israel five years in a row, taking 75-100 children with her.
