Adolph Zelmanovitch was born in Czechoslovakia in 1925. He lived in a ghetto for one week before spending thirteen to fourteen months in Ebenezer forced labor camp in Austria. He was forty kilograms when liberated at seventeen years old. His wife Rosa survived Auschwitz and his three sisters survived the Holocaust.
