Yona Bromberg

Yona Bromberg was born in Poland in 1940. She lived in the Rokitna Ghetto before running to hide in the woods when rounded up in the town square. She and her mother and sister were in the woods for eighteen months before being liberated. She came to the United States in 1961 and then to Toronto in Canada. She is a teacher and speaker on the Holocaust because “all my relatives cannot speak.”
