Julius Eisenstein was born in Poland in 1919. He survived the Tonaszson maz Ghetto as well as Auschwitz concentration camp and the slave labor camps in Blizyn, Sachsenhausen, and Dachau from where he was liberated. He came to the United States in 1950 where he worked as a baker. He lost his father, mother, and three sisters, and his one brother survived. He speaks to students and other groups about his experiences.
