Sally Dauman (nee Jachimowitz)

Sally Dauman (nee Jachimowitz) was born in Lodz, Poland, in 1926. She was deported from the Lodz Ghetto to Auschwitz and then went to Bergen-Belsen and Salzwedel camps. She was liberated from the ammunitions factory there. She came to the United States in 1946. She met her husband (now deceased) in Germany, and has one adopted daughter. She goes to schools to teach children about the Holocaust.
